T&B Marriage Proposal

This lovely couple wanted to celebrate, not only their wedding, but also their marriage proposal! B surprised T by inviting her to a casual walk in downtown Lisboa with some friends. These friends were actually accomplices in the preparation of the event that was to be B’s proposal to T.
Starting out at Miradouro de Santa Catarina, the couple walks up to a street singer that by chance happens to be the well known musical artist David Ripado. He agrees to sing T’s favorite song. Mid-song, B gets down on one knee and shoots the question, ring in hand. T sheds a tear and says “yes”!
Dancers erupt from the nearby café and perform for the betrothed! T can’t believe her eyes! Was this all for her? Friends and family emerge as well to confirm T’s suspicions. She is indeed the main character of this love story!
For the remainder of the afternoon, the couple, friends and family all enjoy a meal, a dance and drinks in a nearby restaurant, open exclusively to them. The relaxed afternoon rewards the hard work of the pros at Ycon, of putting this special day together.
All the sketches were done live, on location, as the events developed. Small touches were added later in the studio.
